Rhoda Angutimarik is the CEO of Arctic Fresh. Rhoda has been a teacher at Ataguttaluk Elementary School. Rhoda has a passion for education, and recently has a newfound passion for educating Nunavummiut on self reliance and Capacity building. Access to affordable, and fresh produce in Nunavut is very limited, hence why she is dedicating her energy towards Arctic Fresh.
On top of her management duties at Arctic Fresh, Rhoda provides key insight in the localization aspect of Arctic Fresh’s operations. Having spent her whole life living in Nunavut, Rhoda knows her territory and her target demographic thoroughly and brings the cultural know-how, and marketing know-how, and public relations expertise to Arctic Fresh’s operations. She knows what Nunavummiut want and how to best reach them. One of Rhodas keys to success is integrating IQ to her business and how the business operates. She has been advising the Marketing team on how to best promote the products and the operations team on which products to carry, and how to do business with IQ in mind.
